Kickboxing

Modern high-impact striking combining Muay Thai, boxing, and karate templates.

What is K1 Kickboxing?

K1 Kickboxing is a modern, high-impact striking system that combines elements of Muay Thai, boxing, and traditional karate into one dynamic style. It’s fast, technical, and one of the most effective ways to build total-body fitness while learning real fighting skills.

Unlike cardio kickboxing or bag-only workouts, K1 teaches actual technique — how to strike with power, move with intent, and defend yourself with confidence. You’ll learn to throw punches, kicks, knees, and combinations, all while improving your footwork, timing, and agility.

Who Is It For?

K1 Kickboxing is for anyone looking to get stronger, leaner, and more skilled — without getting bored. You don’t need to be “fit” to start. You don’t need any prior martial arts experience. You just need to show up and be ready to learn.

  • Beginners who want to try combat sports in a welcoming environment
  • Martial arts enthusiasts looking to improve striking skills
  • People who want a serious, engaging workout

What Are the Benefits?

  • Full-body strength and endurance
  • Cardiovascular fitness that improves fast
  • Real self-defence applications
  • Mental clarity, confidence, and focus

Krav Maga

Practical and realistic tactical systems designed around instinctive body reactions.

What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is composed of three pillars: self defence, fighting and the protection of other people, such as a family member, friend or colleague. Krav Maga training is both practical and realistic, building upon the natural reactions of the human body which occur when presented with an unexpected situation of conflict.

Instead of learning abstract forms or long sequences, you’ll train practical techniques like how to escape grabs, defend against strikes, break holds, and stay on your feet when things get chaotic. Every technique is based on natural, instinctive movements.

What Are the Benefits?

  • Real-World Self-Defence platforms
  • Functional fitness, agility, and reaction time
  • Stress control threshold development

Yin Yoga

Slow, anatomical, deep tissue recovery through passive time-under-tension holds.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a slow, science-based style of yoga that targets your body’s deep connective tissues — like fascia, ligaments, joints, and tendons — through long-held, passive stretches. It’s not about flow, sweating, or strength. Yin is about stillness, time under tension, and giving your body space to open without force.

At Stronghold Academy, we teach Yin in a way that’s simple, practical, and rooted in anatomy and biomechanics. No spiritual jargon — just focused breath, conscious stillness, and long-term physical recovery.

The Benefits Matrix

  • Targets tight hips, hamstrings, and spine
  • Increases passive range of motion in joints
  • Triggers parasympathetic nervous system recovery

Inferno Hot Pilates

Build Strength. Improve Fitness. Move Better.

Looking for a workout that challenges your entire body that is high intensity but low impact?

Inferno Hot Pilates (IHP) has taken Las Vegas by storm and is the fastest growing fitness class right now. It is a full-body, low-impact workout performed in a heated room. Combining Pilates principles with high-intensity interval training (HIIT), each class is designed to build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness, increase mobility and burn calories — all while being gentle on your joints.

Suitable for ALL fitness levels, every exercise can be modified, making it just as effective for beginners as it is for experienced athletes.

What is Inferno Hot Pilates?

Inferno Hot Pilates is a dynamic, mat-based workout performed in a heated studio (around 35–38°C). Unlike traditional Pilates, IHP uses timed intervals to keep your heart rate elevated while strengthening your core, legs, glutes, arms and shoulders.

No complicated choreography, minimal or no equipment and no previous experience required — just you, your mat and a willingness to work.

The heat helps warm the muscles, allowing you to move more freely while encouraging a challenging cardiovascular workout.

Is It Suitable for Beginners?

Absolutely. You don’t need any Pilates experience or a high level of fitness to get started.

Our instructors demonstrate different options throughout the class so you can work at your own pace. Whether your goal is weight loss, improved fitness or becoming stronger, you’ll be supported every step of the way.

What to Expect

Classes last approximately 60 minutes and follow an interval-based format with periods of work followed by short recovery.

Expect to sweat, challenge yourself and leave feeling stronger than when you arrived.

Our instructors focus on proper technique, helping you move safely while encouraging you to push yourself at your own pace.

Why Train at Stronghold Academy?

At Stronghold Academy, we believe movement should be effective, inclusive and sustainable.

Our classes focus on quality movement, proper coaching and creating a welcoming environment where everyone — from complete beginners to experienced athletes — can improve their fitness.

Whether you’re looking to lose weight, cross-train for another sport or simply feel healthier and stronger, Inferno Hot Pilates is an excellent addition to your routine.

Benefits of Inferno Hot Pilates

  • Build Functional Strength – Develop total-body strength using bodyweight movements that improve stability, balance and muscular endurance. As you progress and get stronger you will add minimal equipment like bands and hand weights, which means endless possibility for progression.
  • Improve Cardiovascular Fitness – The interval-based format raises your heart rate, helping improve endurance while burning calories.
  • Strengthen Your Core – Every movement challenges your core muscles, improving posture, spinal stability and overall movement quality.
  • Increase Mobility – Move through a full range of motion while improving flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Flexibility and strength go hand in hand; with IHP you will build muscle as you work on your mobility, giving you better control in your end range and reducing the risk of injury.
  • Low Impact on the Joints – Despite being an intense workout, there is no running or jumping, making it a great option for those wanting a challenging but joint-friendly class.
  • Burn Calories – The combination of resistance training, interval work and a heated environment creates an effective workout that continues to elevate your metabolism after class.

What to Bring

  • Yoga mat (available to borrow if needed)
  • Large towel
  • Water bottle (essential)
  • Comfortable workout clothing
  • A positive attitude!
